Upper Alde Barn is a luxury barn conversion within the grounds of Dernford Hall, set in 32 acres of Private Nature Reserve this is a truly peaceful getaway with landscaped private river walks. The barn contains a stunning galleried bedroom overlooking the dramatic lounge area complete with oak beams and an open fireplace. Private enclosed garden great for those with dogs. The only noise is the sound of birdsong. The space On arrival guests will park directly outside this stunning property. The front door leads to a small entrance hall which opens on to the open plan dining and double height living area. Opposite the entrance hall is a spacious bathroom with walk in shower and roll top bath. Behind the living area is the kitchen and adjoining utility room. The enclosed back garden is accessed from the kitchen, perfect for those with dogs. The first floor contains the gallery bedroom overlooking the living area. There a private balcony overlooking the beautiful Suffolk countryside with views of the Highland Cattle. ENTRANCE: From the private parking area there is a short path to the front entrance hallway with space for coats and boots. LIVING/DINING ROOM: This room’s main features are the beamed ceilings and open fire. The dramatic purple sofas and spacious dining table set the tone for a luxury stay. There is a flat screen TV with Netlfix and Amazon for cosy evenings in, although the guest welcome book includes a guide to some highly recommended gastro pubs in the nearby area. BATHROOM: A luxury bathroom with a roll top bath, W.C., oversized hand basin, walk-in shower with a large rain head. KITCHEN: There are wooden worktops, a four-ring electric hob, integrated AEG electric oven, a small fridge and slim-line dishwasher in this fully furnished kitchen, with essentials such as tea and coffee supplied. There is also a Nespresso coffee machine and Aeroccino. The utility room off the kitchen includes washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. FIRST FLOOR: Stairs lead from the dining area to the galleried bedroom. BEDROOM: overlooking the large hearth and open fire the king-size bed has 100% cotton bedlinen. There is a hand basin, illuminated mirror, and a chest of drawers. A door at the top of the stairs leads to the spacious balcony which overlooks open fields and seasonally the magnificent Highland Cattle. OUTSIDE: There is a large enclosed back garden with a table and chairs. The owners welcome you to explore the 32 acres of land they have stretching out to the River Alde. Guest access 32 acres including landscaped river walks. Private fully enclosed garden. Other things to note We have a separate, indoor, purpose built Dog Shower for our four legged guests. Please bring their towels
