The area is a very quiet and safe residential area, next to the nice forest (walking distance) and the Oulujoki swimming beach. Bus stop is next to the apartment (bus number 7 runs three times an hour to the city center and back). Services nearby within walking distance: two grocery stores (incl. a post-automat), pizzeria, library, hairdresser, school and sport field.
