Africana is just moments away from Manchester’s top attractions like Cotton Park. This stunning apartment is the perfect blend of beauty and Manchester’s rich industrial past! Africana is housed in a beautifully restored 1830s factory that once produced Avro aircraft during World War I. Combining industrial heritage with modern sophistication, the apartment exudes boutique style, offering a unique and unforgettable experience. Kitchen & Dining Area: The open-plan kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. We offer a fridge, freezer, oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso machine, kettle and toaster and induction hob. Unwind in the spacious, sunlit dining area, where natural light floods through stunning Victorian windows, enhancing the warm, welcoming ambiance. After a day of adventure, relax in the cosy lounge with its one-of-a-kind Sudanese daybed and Swahili-inspired decor, offering a peaceful and unique retreat. There is a dining table perfect for hosting or enjoying a meal together with family and friends. The kitchen island doubles up as a breakfast bar, with 4 additional bar stools. This space also offers an excellent workspace for those who may be travelling on business. Living Area: For both work and leisure, Africana offers super-fast WiFi, a 55” Smart TV with streaming services such as Freeview, On Demand, and Prime Video, and a tranquil workspace with stunning views of the Northern Quarter. Bedrooms: There are two king-size bedrooms. Relax in the comfortable master bedroom, featuring plenty of wardrobe space, and calming downlighting. After a long day exploring Manchester, this room provides the perfect retreat for a restful night's sleep. Bathrooms: The two bathrooms are finished with white Calcutta marble tiles, resin basins, and full-length backlit mirrors. Exposed beams add character, making these serene spaces ideal for unwinding after a day out in the city. We offer bath towels and hand towels, as well as complimentary shampoo, conditioner and hand soap. Complimentary Amenities: Enjoy the following free amenities designed to ensure your stay is thoroughly catered to: • Tea, coffee, sugar, milk sachets, oil and salt & pepper. • Selection of Nespresso pods. • Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap). • Towels provided. • Cleaning boxes - include a sponge, mini washing-up liquid, 1 laundry pod, and a cloth. ** Please note that these complimentary items are provided as a one-time courtesy and will not be replenished during your stay. **4 Guest access Upon booking with us, you will receive access to your personalised Guest Pass. The Guest Pass is powered by Enso Connect – an Airbnb trusted partner. Here you will receive your check-in instructions including any access codes, Wi-Fi details, local recommendations (& exclusive discounts!) and much more. You will receive a link to your Guest Pass in your booking confirmation message. Kindly ensure that your Guest Pass verification is complete prior to your check-in, as you will not be able to access the apartments until this is complete. Please also note that, as part of the check-in process, you will be required to collect the keys from our head office, which is a separate location from the property you have booked. Our head office is approximately a 5-minute walk from the property. Valid identification for the lead booker will be required in order for the keys to be released. Key collection is available 7 days a week between 9:00 and 17:00. Please let us know in advance what time you would like to collect the keys, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please be aware that key collection after 17:00 will incur an additional charge. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer service team with any questions or concerns regarding your stay. Other things to note Please note we do not manage the building and cannot be held responsible for any maintenance issues in building communal areas. We ask our guests to kindly respect our neighbours. We also encourage you to read our house rules for full transparency of our terms & conditions prior to booking.
