Bailey's Barn, sleeps 2

Beautifully converted barn set in the gorgeous Norfolk countryside. Get away from everything in our cosy barn complete with wood burning stove. Bailey's sleeps 2 in 1 double bed. We welcome dogs (max of 2) please let us know if you are bringing a pet with you. Our barns are 4 star rated with visit England. Gorgeous country walks right on the doorstep, and just a 20 min drive from Sheringham, Cromer and Holt. The space Our lovely barn has an open plan layout. It is the perfect size for 2 people and has a lovely log burning stove and underfloor heating to keep you warm and cosy in the evenings. There is a living/ dining room with a kitchen in one corner. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need including fridge, electric oven, gas hob and dishwasher. All pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc. are included and we have many guests say that it is the most well equipped holiday cottage they have ever stayed in! There is a small sofa and comfy arm chair as well as a small table and 2 chairs for eating. There is a TV and DVD player with a collection of DVDs and books available for your use. The barn does have Wi-Fi, but please remember we are located in rural North Norfolk, so it can be a little slow at times. The bathroom is located downstairs and has a toilet, sink and large walk in shower/wetroom area. We provide one large and one small towel per guest. The bedroom is located upstairs in the eves of the barn on a mezzanine floor. It has a lovely, comfy, double bed which comes with all linen and 4 pillows. There is also an arm chair, wardrobe, full length mirror and chest of draws in the bedroom. As well as reading lights and a hair dryer. We can provide a cot if you have a little one with you. This isn't stored in the barn and must be requested ahead of your stay. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer located in the open barn. These are shared between Bailey's and Owl barns and are free for you to use. We provide a welcome basket for all our guests- perfect to get you started! All linen and towels are included. Dogs are more than welcome to stay (max 2 per barn), but please let us know if you are bringing a doggy along. Doggy rules: - We ask that dogs do not go on the beds. Getting hair out of white sheets is a nightmare! - We prefer that dogs do not go on the sofas, but if they are used to this at home please bring your own throws to cover the furniture. - Please do not leave your dogs unattended in the barn. It is unfair on them and on our other guests. If you would like details of a local dog sitter, let me know. Guest access There is a beautiful courtyard for you to enjoy. This is shared with our 2 other holiday cottages, but each cottage has a "private" part which is partially screened by plants and fully enclosed with 3 ft fencing. Each cottage has a table and chairs (and bench) outside for you to enjoy. Bailey's barn has a small charcoal Bbq for you to use, it's the perfect size for 2 people. In the open barn you will find a washing machine and tumble dryer that are for communal use between all 3 cottages. There is also a ping pong table and a range of out door games. The courtyard is fully enclosed, with the lowest point being the 3ft high gate at the entrance. the rest of the area has full height brick walls. However as it is shared with the other cottages we do ask that you keep your dogs on the lead if the other guests are outside, as not everyone likes dogs as much as we do! There is space for up to 8 cars on the drive way. We will send instructions on the best way to park and guide you in on arrival, this way there will be enough room for everyone who is staying.
