Zara Cottage is a 1930's art deco styled home on an isolated farm off Route 62. Three separate bedrooms, lounge, open plan kitchen/dining room with working Dover stove for those chilly winter evenings. Fully equipped self catering. 2 bathrooms. Exclusive use plunge pool. Eskom power with solar backup to run the lights, a plug point and wifi during loadshedding. Wolverfontein is the heart of the Klein Karoo. The space Zara Cottage is a wonderful throw back to the easy living of the 1930's, but has all the luxuries of contemporary living. This is an ideal getaway for families and friends. Guest access Guests are welcome to explore our property, but also have access to wonderful walks on surrounding farms. There is plenty of open space to stretch the legs, and brilliant clear skies for night owls. We are fortunate enough to have the Touwsberg Private Nature Reserve less than 500m from our gate, allowing our guests access to unspoiled nature and wild life - giraffe/kudu/eland/zebra/ etc. The reserve is easily reached by either car or bicycle, or on foot. For those who need to soak their muscles after a long walk, we have a hot springs resort less than 12km from our farm. Other things to note There is plenty out-door shaded area, braai facilities, and a crate of wood is provided free every evening. Extra wood is available for purchase. All bedding and towels are provided. Tea, coffee and sugar are provided. Some olive oil and chili oil are provided for cooking. Wifi is via a satellite solution and is more than sufficient for a working getaway. Eskom power with solar backup to run the lights, a plug point and wifi during loadshedding.
