Just 25 minutes from Tin Can Bay and the Great Sandy Strait, you’ll have fabulous boating, fishing and coastal adventures right on your doorstep. Explore Rainbow Beach and K’gari (Fraser Island), wander through the gorgeous Mary Valley, discover hidden rock pools, enjoy bushwalks and visit charming country towns packed with fabulous cafés and restaurants. And when adventure is done for the day, come home to your cosy cottage, relax and soak up the peace, space and spectacular scenery. Both the sunrise and the sunset from the property, across the valley, are truly something special. Best of all, Noosa and the Sunshine Coast are just 50 minutes away — close enough for a day trip, far enough to truly switch off! Guest access You are welcome to wander the property down to the creek (please be wary of the cows and horses that move freely across the paddocks). There is a pool at the main house that can be available to access upon request. Other things to note Hillside cottage is a farm; we have cows, horses, cats and a dog, they are all very friendly but as you can understand, do not come without risk. We only ask that you respect their home and their space and we are certain you will find them to be great friends with you. You are welcome to feed the horses carrots over the fence, but please do not interact with the cows as they can be unpredictable. Our horses are not suitable for riding.
