A new glamping retreat in the Hill Country located off Hwy 71 E near Lake Travis, Luck Ranch, and Krause Springs. We are surrounded by more than 100 vineyards and breweries. Our collection of 4 tiny cabins and 7 vintage RV's rest on 20 acres of countryside and is yours to explore (check out our other rentals on Airbnb as well). Build a fire, BBQ with friends, travel to surrounding local communities, Marble falls, Johnson City, Burnet, & Lampasas. Come escape and relax with us at Green Acres. This is one of our 4 uniquely decorated cabins with its own little patio. Inside you will find it very simple yet cozy with a Queen bed, mini fridge, coffee maker, a bottle of wine, snacks, and more! Green Acres is a unique spot that offers our guests a chance to enjoy a little Southern Hospitality in the Texas hill country & experience glamping all in one. We have 11 newly renovated tiny homes/RVs that each have their own flair inside. We have 7 vintage campers that each have their own story to tell and 4 cozy decorated cabins. You have access to the Spa inspired Bath House that consists of 4 bathrooms (2 have indoor showers), and 2 outdoor showers, a community sitting area, laundry room, full-size refrigerator, ice machine, and sink. Each unit has access to the outdoor areas and playground, hammocks, BBQ pits, fire pits (must follow county guidelines if there is a burn ban in effect), corn hole, washers, room to walk and enjoy our property, a dog park, and outdoor dining areas. The property is pet friendly. We have custom dog wash, with oat meal shampoo, custom towels to dry off. We have a designated very safe fenced in area for the dogs to run off leash. They are welcome to be on grounds, we would suggest they stay on a leash because of other guests & we do have free-range ducks and chickens that roam on the back half of the property. The property is 100% fenced, but the front fence is a rail fence and will not keep them from adventuring off into the highway. Please make sure they take care of “business” outside the main park areas. Please don't open any of the farm gates, they are keeping our livestock corralled & please do not feed the animals.  WIFI is available throughout. Visit our website to see more and follow us on FB: Green Acres Spicewood IG: Green Acres Spicewood We have positioned all the cabins/RV’s with ample space between them and a park-like setting in the center. The park has generous path lights along the walkways & trees lit up in-between making the park very pleasant at night. We have a large fire pit, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, bench swings and 4 BBQ pits which are all shared by our guests. The property is home to our unique gift store which is open on certain weekends throughout the year with a huge emphasis on Christmas. It is open every Friday to Sunday November thru Christmas. The west pasture (which is fenced) is home to Elenor our Longhorn, she is kept company by Cookie, Oreo, and Hersey, which are miniature Belted Galloways (Or Pandas). You can walk thru the pasture to visit, please do not open gates or feed them. In the North pasture we have our resident celebrity band members: Brooks, Dunn, Reba, and Dolly our miniature donkeys. They do attempt to sing sometimes. Please do not feed them, they are over weight. We have constructed a great park for kids. I do see more big kids on the see-saw than little, you are welcome to play too. Throughout the property we have added a lot of interesting spots for pictures, we have a 12 foot swing, a 7 ft Adirondack chair, a historical canon that is from Gonzales, a 1902 gas engine original tractor, a huge wind mill that is ground height, a 34’ Ford chicken house, a 1944 John Deere tractor (restored and runs), a 1925 Model “T” delivery van, a 1958 (we think) Pontiac station wagon, that has been cut in half and has bench,(original Soccer mom van). Feel free to wander and explore everything on the premises! You might see a tall old man running around working on the next project, that’s Raymond the owner. He might stop to say hello if he sees you out and about. If your lucky he might take you to feed the donkeys and give you a tour. ☺️ we usually give our guests space but always up to say hello if you are! Debbie is his wife, if you catch the store open on the weekends stop in shop and say hello, she is usually there on weekends especially around Christmas time. She’s is the one responsible for all the wonderful little extras your going to find throughout your stay…. decorations, keeping everything stocked, towels, robes, coffee, wine, snacks, good soap, good shampoo and conditioner… you name it, she has thought of it! We are a very safe, gated and unique 20 acre retreat, located off Highway 71 E in Spicewood. Spicewood is a large area but a very eccentric small town packed with wildlife, nature and fun all around! The infamous Krause Springs is 5 min from our location. Lake Travis is a short drive. Muleshoe Rec Park is a hidden Gem on the lake, famous for its bluebonnets in the spring. Spicewood has a General Store, a liquor store (Spicewood Liquor), and three food trucks right next to the General Store which have their own odd open times (usually open for lunch). We are very close to Opies BBQ they open at 11:00 and close when they are sold out. Further down is Angels Ice House, great Mexican Martinis and Burgers, live music on Friday & Saturday (free) and are dog friendly. The Front Yard is also a real gem of a place with unique setting, family friendly with its own winery and brewery! They have Pickleball courts there, two unique food trucks that use fresh/local ingredients (highly recommend their wine-lovers/& beer- lovers Pizza)! Poodies is a fun "hole in the wall" bar with live music most weekends- Willies fav hangout bar back in the day (wonderful Philly cheesesteak). Also near Spicewood are many amazing Parks and State Parks, all less than an hour drive. Hidden Falls adventure Park, Enchanted Rock, Perdernales Falls, Inks Lake, Longhorn Caverns, McKinney Falls, Hamilton Pool, Reimers Ranch Park (world class Rock Climbing with tons of biking/hiking), Colorado Bend State Park (little further drive) and many more! If you love mountain biking, Spider Mountain is nearby (40 min away) as well as Reveille Peak Ranch (Both have bike rentals available). On our website we have listed tons of things to do, places of interest, vineyards, etc. We try to list current events but we are a little lax in keeping that up to date! So much to explore in and around our little town, you will certainly not bore of things to do and places to see! Automatic Front Gate and self check-in. Parking is vast and almost unlimited (just stay on the crushed granite driveways and don’t block roads). There is plenty of extra space if your hauling a boat or trailer as well.
