Description

A spacious studio apartment, the property contains two single beds, built in wardrobe, wall mounted TV and ensuite shower room. The kitchenette contains a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities along with a toaster and microwave, crockery is also provided. There will also be tea and coffee supplied. There is ample of parking available for guests. The space Located close to the village of Challow Station, the property sits on the former site of Leather Bottle Pub & Restaurant located on the A417. The pub closed in 2017 was then converted into cottages and FieldView was later built in what used to be the pubs car park. The self-contained apartment is nestled in a small peaceful development offering countryside views and are a short drive from the picturesque market towns of Wantage, Farringdon and Abingdon. Harwell and Culham Science Centre are also in easy reach. Each property is equipped with simple cooking facilities for your stay, there is a plug in hob but please note there is no oven. To comply with fire regulations each property has emergency lighting in place, so there are green lights located in the light fitting that remain on. There are a number of villages located in close proximity, allowing for country walks or a visit to the local pub. Perhaps a trip to Blenheim Palace to see the birth place of Winston Churchill and take a walk in the beautiful gardens or you could visit the ancient White Horse chalk Hill figure in Uffington along with Dragon Hill where legend dictates the flattened hill top is where St. George, England’s patron saint slew the dragon.
