Artist's Home in the Romanian Countryside

Welcome to a slower way of living. This is not a hotel or a polished countryside retreat. It's a lived-in creative home, surrounded by nature, silence, and simple moments. A place where mornings begin with birdsong, evenings end under endless stars, and time naturally slows down. The house is filled with wood, handmade details, old objects with stories, plants, and art. Every corner reflects my love for nature, traditional Romanian heritage, and creating with my hands. The space Guests have the entire ground floor for themselves, including a private bedroom and private bathroom. At the moment, the space comfortably hosts up to 3 guests. The only shared area is the kitchen. I live upstairs, where my art studio is, so you'll have plenty of privacy while still sharing the home in a relaxed and respectful way. You're welcome to cook your own meals, or if you'd rather fully enjoy your stay, I also offer homemade traditional Romanian meals for an additional cost. Since there are no restaurants nearby, this can be a lovely way to experience local food made with care. (depending on the season) The outdoors The garden is one of my favorite places. It's long, quiet, and slowly climbs the hillside behind the house, leading to our small vineyard and a peaceful spot overlooking part of the village. Bring a coffee, a book, or simply sit and listen to the wind. The yard itself is still a work in progress.. this is a countryside home that's constantly growing and evolving.. but the surrounding nature more than makes up for it. This is the home I live in, create in, and slowly transform into my life's biggest artwork. Find a quiet corner indoors, settle in the garden, or work with a view over the vineyard and let nature set the pace. Other things to note Every corner of the house reflects what I love most: nature, slow living, traditional Romanian craftsmanship, and art. I'm gradually renovating the home using old objects preserved from my grandparents, alongside my own paintings, handmade pieces, and reclaimed materials. My dream is to let the entire house grow into a living art project.
