Peace and quiet with open countryside views. A light & airy modern space that sleeps 6 with double glazing & gas heating. You’ll be treated to beautiful sunsets and big unblemished stary skies. The Wetlands Trust is close by and Littleport & Downham Market for shopping and train stations with easy reach to Hunstanton, Cambridge, Kings Lynn and beyond. There’s plenty of good country pubs & usual eateries. Please read ALL the details of this listing before booking inc the ‘other details to note’! The space A stylish place available most of the year on a small holding with central heating to be warm and cosy on those chilly nights. Surrounded by open countryside with far reaching views, peace and quiet. Pop across the track to the shepherds hut, maybe have a bbq or roast some marshmallows in the fire pit while you wait to be treated to beautiful unblemished stary nights. It really is the perfect place to relax where you’ll see hare, deer and an abundance of birds inc barn owls and buzzards and of course all our animals. We are also close to the wetlands trust where you’ll see many varieties of waterfowl and for those of you that like fishing there’s plenty of ideal places where the rivers meet in Welney village during the season and where our local pub is The Lamb & Flag for good food (booking advisable) & refreshments. For the young ones or the young at heart our resident pony’s, chickens, peacocks, sheep, pigs, cats, dogs, alpacas and some cheeky goats are all waiting to greet you. There’s also a badger nature walk for you to amble along if you so wish, when you might see the elusive animals or muntjac. Maybe a change of scenery perhaps once rested, take yourself off to the seaside at Hunstanton or Kings Lynn for shopping or Ely with its beautiful Cathedral and eateries, then there’s Cambridge for a spot of posh shopping, pubs & restaurants abundant. PLEASE READ ‘OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE’ before booking! 😊 Guest access Nice easy access to your accommodation where there is a pretty shepherds hut just opposite (see photos) for your use to relax in next to our piggies. The animals are all in their enclosures ready and waiting for their photo opportunity! Please close the gates behind you. Other things to note PLEASE drive slowly on our road it is broken & very bumpy, not for the faint hearted! So start your relax there and take in the wildlife and countryside. The track is unmade but the benefit to this is no unwanted or unexpected visitors which secures it’s uniqueness and the total peace and quiet that is so rare these days!! As it is a farm track it is NOT suitable for sports or very low cars and all cars must be driven slowly to avoid personal injury or damage. . . we will not be held responsible. As previously mentioned the accommodation is on a small holding so there will be the usual animal noises & smells. Look up stixville farm on social media for more of our animal antics.
