A wide veranda to the south can be reached via the sleeping and living areas. This apartment also has its own terrace on the other side of the house, which can be reached from the kitchen: practical and ideal for breakfast, brunch or lunch. All apartments (for 2, 4 or 6 people) in the "Ferienhof Weites Land" have a high-quality Nobilia fitted kitchen with dishwasher, extractor hood, oven, ceramic hob and a large fridge. In addition, there is everything a modern kitchen needs. The dining area is equipped with a large table and leather upholstered chairs, the living area with a leather couch and flat-screen TV. All rooms have underfloor heating, which is fed by geothermal energy. The vacation farm gets water from its own well. For the house guests there is a small room with a washing machine and dryer in front of the sauna. The complex includes a relaxation area with a sauna, which has separate access from each apartment, in front of the outdoor facilities with benches and green areas, which open to the south with a wide view over the Eifel. About Us - The vacation farm: The actual name "Hardthof" goes back to an old field name on the hills above Stadtkyll - or with the exact elevation: 530 meters above sea level. The term "auf der Hardt" is more common and means a wooded hill. The site was developed by the old country road L 24, which passes nearby. Formerly an area of pure pasture management, the site on the edge overlooking Stadtkyll was only developed in the 1960s. century with a spacious residential building: Today the basis for the new "Weites Land" vacation rentals. The vacation farm was opened in 2014. Rita and Werner Palms, who run it, grew up in the Eifel and are rooted here in a long family tradition. Together with their two adult children Carolin and Matthias, they ensure that their guests have a pleasant time in their hometown. Rita and Werner Palms live in a separate part on the Hardthof and are therefore on site as a contact person. The new name “Ferienhof Weites Land” signals the special location: The view over mountains and valleys, over the gently curved Eifel landscape is incredibly beautiful and fantastic to experience from few other points. Surrounded by nature, no house around, only meadows, forest and now and then deer or foxes in sight: this is how you can enjoy the Eifel. A small but fine special feature is the narrow Wenzelbach on the edge and a little lower down, which flows into a former fish pond. A small platform with a bench invites you to dream by the water, surrounded only by meadows, trees, the green of the shore bushes, a few animals in the distance and maybe one or two carp in the pond.
