MéMé's Ocean View Apartment, Baie du Cap

A two-bedroom apartment right on the beach at Baie du Cap, on the south-west coast of Mauritius. Both bedrooms have sea views, and there are three private balconies facing south over the ocean. It sleeps up to four, with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, a washing machine and a desk in each bedroom. Macondé viewpoint is within walking distance, and Le Morne and Chamarel are there to explore by car. Free off-road parking for guests. The space The apartment is on the first floor of a small building directly on the beach. It has two air-conditioned bedrooms, each with a desk, a wardrobe and a sea view: one with a 1.60 m queen bed and one with a 1.40 m double bed. The sea-view living room has a sofa and TV, and there are three private balconies looking south over the ocean. There's one bathroom with a shower and hot water. Kitchen: fridge, induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, kettle and wine glasses, with a dining table for four. Tea, coffee and Nespresso capsules are provided, and there's a welcome tray with local Bois Chéri tea, snacks and water waiting when you arrive. Also in the apartment: a washing machine and drying rack, a record player with a few vinyls, mosquito nets, bed linen, towels, hangers, shampoo, shower gel, soap and a hairdryer. A travel cot is available. For the beach: beach towels, beach chairs, an umbrella and snorkelling masks, all free to use. Outside there's outdoor furniture and an outdoor dining area. The two desks, the Wi-Fi and the washing machine make it practical for longer stays and working remotely. Guest access The whole apartment and its three balconies are yours. You're also welcome to use the outdoor space around the building. Free off-road parking is available for guests. The apartment is reached by a shared staircase, with no lift. Other things to note - The apartment is on the first floor, up a shared staircase with no lift. - The studio sits directly above it in the same small building. - The building is right on the beach at the front, with the main coastal road along the back. - Exterior security camera overlooking the parking/entrance area. There are no cameras inside the apartment. - The balconies have solid railings. Please keep an eye on young children on the balconies. - The property is partly solar-powered, with a solar backup system. - Smoking is allowed outside only, never inside. - Stays of 28 nights or more are welcome.
