Westfjords - Farmhouse Kaldrananes by the sea

Kaldrananes is a family owned 160 sqm four bedroom farm house by the sea side in north west Iceland. It is located in the beautiful semi-remote rural Strandir district , approximately 260 km from Reykjavík. Currently it is used as a holiday house. The space Currently Kaldrananes is used as a holiday house/summer home by the families who own it and their children. Kaldrananes is a natural paradise, you have the sea, birds, seals, beaches with drift wood, cliffs that look like trolls, sheep and colors that you rarely see anywhere in the world. We have our own private water well only 15 meters from the house that comes 250 meters from the ground. You will probably never in your live be able to drink so pure, clean and good water as the water you will drink in our house in Kaldrananes. Two great swimming pools with natural hot water are nearby (within 15 km). Driving north from Kaldrananes to Norðurfjörður is an adventurous day trip really worth making. Hiking trails are reached directly from the house and another few are easily reached by car. Beautiful surroundings invite you new adventures every day and if you want to be close to nature and away from 80% of the tourist that visit Iceland, the north western part of Iceland is the place you should visit.
