The space Welcome to Henkieker – a very special getaway on Fehmarn. Our stylish vacation apartment is located in Lemkendorf, just minutes from the popular sailing and surfing port of Lemkenhafen – one of the most beautiful places on the island for water sports, sunsets and a relaxed Baltic Sea atmosphere. The house itself tells a story: It was once the old train station of the town, and parts of the original building are still preserved today. With a great deal of attention to detail, the historic brick walls have been integrated into the terrace and sauna area specially designed for our guests. Fresh herbs and local vegetables grow along the old walls, giving the property a very special charm between nature, history and modern comfort. The spacious property invites you to explore, relax and take a deep breath. In addition to cozy seating areas, a barrel sauna, a lovingly restored old circus wagon and practical storage facilities for bicycles, surfboards or other outdoor equipment await you. Another highlight is the large garden, with its fruit trees and many cozy nooks. However, our guests particularly love the picturesque American-style chicken coop – and if you look very closely, you might even be greeted by our peacock there. Here, tranquility, nature, and North German warmth come together. Look forward to a special place full of small details, a relaxed atmosphere and a real Fehmarn feeling – and to becoming part of this idyllic spot for a while. Guest access During your stay, the entire apartment with separate entrance is at your disposal. The detached house is divided into two areas: I live on the ground floor myself; the vacation rental is located on the upper floor of the house and offers you plenty of peace and privacy. Guests are also welcome to use the garden, which has various cozy areas for relaxing and spending time. Our little chicken coop with the peacock is particularly popular with guests of all ages and always creates special vacation moments.
