Cottage on the historic island of Adelsö

This beautiful wooden house from 1910 only an hour from Stockholm city centre, is located on the historic island of Adelsö. It was originally a shop to serve community of Lindby but over the years, was eventually turned into a house that today accommodates a family of 4-7. There is also a small basic cabin that has a bunk bed and a single bed on the property. The house is close to a range of amenities incl. a shop, a beautiful old traditional café and bathing places The space There is a very cosy shop on the island that has most thing you need. During the summer, there is also a café, For a more substantial supermarket, guests can take the ferry (no cost and it leaves every half hour) and then drive 20 mins to Lidl at Ekerö. Pony riding is also possible in Sättra gård. Buses run regularly from Bromma station in Stockholm
