Quiet stay at an artist's home in Etla.

My home is located in Etla, 35 minutes from the city of Oaxaca. I designed and furnished it by choosing materials, objects, books, plants and furniture that I wanted to live with on a daily basis. When I'm away, I open my doors to guests who want to enjoy a beautiful and quiet space to relax and create. Much of life in the house takes place between the inside and the outside. If you're looking for privacy, peace and quiet, and a slower pace of life, this house is ideal for you. The space The house is located in the Etla Valley, about 35 minutes from the city of Oaxaca. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious outdoor areas and numerous spots to sit, read, work, cook or simply enjoy the outdoors. The property is fully furnished and equipped for both short and long stays. It's located in a rural area, so a car is recommended. However, there's access to public transport near the property. Other things to note Located in the heart of Etla, the house is an excellent base for exploring one of the most authentic regions of Oaxaca. Just a few minutes away, you'll find some of the best traditional restaurants, local markets, the Centro de las Artes de San Agustín (CASA), and landscapes of mountains, fields and paths that are ideal for walking or exploring. Although it's possible to get around by taxi, having a car will make your stay much more comfortable and will let you enjoy the surrounding villages, workshops, restaurants and natural attractions with greater freedom, as well as the centre of Oaxaca City, which is about thirty-five minutes away.
