Ozombanda Camp, Self-Catering. Farmhouse

Ozombanda Camp is situated 30 Km west of Okahandja, 4 km's from the main tar road, a 4 Km of good gravel road, accessible by any small sedan vehicle. There are five well-equipped thatched chalets. During the day and especially at sunset, you can view at least seven species of game animals at the waterpoint. This is a small but fully functional farm where we produce our own braai chickens, eggs, sheep, cattle, milk, and honey. It is a suitable venue for birthday celebrations or get-togethers. The space This is the ideal stopover to start or end your Namibian tour, as we are only 1,5 hours away from Hosea Kutako Airport. The 4 thatched chalets and the farmhouse each have their own bathroom with only a shower, a washbasin, and a toilet. Each chalet has its own stoep with a braai place and an outside washbasin. Game animals can be viewed from the sundowner deck next to the pool and braai area. Guests can braai inside the braai lapa, or even use the fully equipped kitchen, all in close proximity. Self-driving game drives can be done on your own around the 200 Hectare farm. Ozombanda Camp still bears the scars of the 1904-1907 German and Herero war. There are two graves located on the farm of fallen Schutz Truppe, two Italian volunteers who helped to build the first railway line in former Deutch Südwest Africa. Guest access Please arrange the arrival time with your host. You will be met at the entrance gate on the B1 tar road and escorted to the farm 4km away. Guests can access the whole premises. Other things to note Nearby activities include the "Bushmen Walk with the San" which is one hour away. Cheetah Conservation Fund is about 210 km away.
