Visit us if you wish to experience the real Cypriot life in a rural village, surrounded by beautiful nature. Join us in making halloumi cheese or making cypriot ravioli. Enjoy our home made cheese and pastries, organic fruits & veggies from our own field. Try our home-made dinner prepared using our products and freshly collected vegetables & herbs. Breakfast, dinner and activities needs to be reserved in advance. Aperanti is located 20 min drive from Nicosia and 15 from Machairas mountains. The space Our Agrotourism B&B accommodation in a renovated traditional stone-built house located in the picturesque village of Pera Orinis, nestled in the foothills of the Machairas mountains. Despite its quiet location it is only a 20-minute drive (or 30-minute bus ride) from the capital Nicosia. By staying at us you will have the possibility not only to relax and to explore our beautiful countryside, but to taste our home-made products (cheese, jams, cakes, pastries,...) and to participate in local activities (traditional halloumi cheese making, olive oil production, fruit collection, visit of nearby farms...). Breakfast is 8 euros per person and needs to be reserved 1 day in advance. Activities needs to be reserved at least few days in advance. Home-made freshly prepared dinner (25 euros per person) can also be arranged upon request (at least 1 day notice). Our location is ideal for tourists who love nature and outdoor activities. Trekking, cycling, birdwatching, horse-riding, kayaking are all possible at nearby locations. This is a very spacious room (36m²) with the traditional arch, located at the ground floor and can accommodate up to 4 people. This room is fitted with wooden & iron furniture, beamed ceilings and stone flooring. It opens to a shared yard. The private bathroom (with shower) is inside the room. Room Facilities: wifi, aircondition, fan, heating, bed sheets, towels, free toiletries. Bed size: 1 double bed & 1 double sofa bed Common areas: dining room, central courtyard with tables. Agrotourism services: home-made breakfast on request, home-made dinner on request, free WiFi in the room and common areas, selling of home-made products, cooking lessons & workshops & tours for small groups. Guest access Apart from their private room, guests can access and use any time the shared central yard (with outdoor tables), the sitting area in the reception and the dining area. During your stay We provide maps of the village and nearby areas. We are happy to give tips about trekking paths, restaurants and places to visit. We offer workshops to give insights about rural traditional life (cheese making, cooking classes, olive harvesting). We are happy to interact with our guests, to tell them stories about Cyprus and to exchange stories and tips about travelling.
