Farm stay in Scarborough

Our third luxury handcrafted log cabin, set on a working farm in the heart of Dalby Forest. Perfect for couples or families. Our cozy, heated cabin has a fridge and kettle with tea and coffee making facilities, and has an ensuite bathroom with heated towel rails. Enjoy the stunning views from the covered raised decking area. Close to Dalby visitors center and 30 miles of amazing mountain bike trails. We provide a continental breakfast brought to the door, and a gas bbq for cooking. The space This beautiful cabin is wonderfully luxurious. We built it ourselves with timber from our own woods on the farm, and a lot of love! Dahlia Cabin is insulated and really well heated so you will be warm and cozy throughout the winter months! The two double beds are made up of gorgeous bedding, that have been described as the most comfortable beds that guests have ever slept in. This cabin has a private double bedroom and the second double bed in in the main cabin. The en-suite bathroom has a hot, powerful shower, hand basin and toilet. White fluffy towels are provided on a heated towel rail. We provide a kettle, with tea, coffee, sugar and fruit tea's. Also a small fridge with fresh milk and enough space to chill your own food. A picnic hamper contains plates and cutlery. There is also a lovely wooden table and chairs inside. We have included a Smart TV so you can cozy up on a cold winter's night! We also have free WiFi. The outside space comprises of a raised wooden decking area that has a roof and one perspex wall. There is comfortable, cushioned seating and coffee table, looking out onto a fabulous view of our farm, and the forest. Rolling fields with cattle and sheep grazing. Also on the decking area is Dahlia Cabin's own gas BBQ with gas bottle provided. The cabin also has it's own garden area and gravelled private parking. A gorgeous continental breakfast is brought by us to the cabin at a time of your choice. This is brought in baskets and contains warm pastries, fresh chopped fruit, a choice of yoghurts and preserves, cereals and granola, fruit juice and milk. This is suitable for vegetarians and we can cater for vegan and gluten free diets with a little notice. This is the perfect accommodation for families who want an escape on the farm, couples for a romantic break and groups of friends. All we ask is that you relax, unwind and have a wonderful break! Five miles from the nearest village, the farm is surrounded by seven thousand acres of forest, providing a peaceful location where with luck you can see fantastic wildlife including roe deer, badgers, foxes,owls and other birds. We have cattle and sheep on the farm, and we are happy to provide 'Sheep cake' for the children to feed the lambs in the paddock next to the garden during the spring. We are 15 miles from Scarborough, approx. 20 miles to Whitby, and 6 miles Pickering. Guest access The cabin has a private parking space and lawned garden.
