Unique Country Villa near Budapest

A unique and beautiful property for family, friends and groups within easy reach of Budapest. Central Budapest is 40 minutes away and 25 minutes to Budapest airport. The villa sits within its own 1.5 hectare grounds with pool (in season), gazebo, landscaped gardens and outside kitchen. The grounds are exceptionally bio diverse: it is a nature lover’s paradise. It is secluded without being isolated and accessible from an unmade road about a kilometre away from the motorway directly to Budapest. The space The property will suit adventurous outdoor families, friends or groups as it is surrounded by forest. The main villa has been our summer family retreat for the past 18 years. If you are thinking of a summer/autumn getaway with a large group of your favourite people, don't settle for an impersonal hotel room or a busy overcrowded resort - treat yourself to an exclusive holiday experience with our large private villa. This could be the perfect choice for your group, providing ample space and privacy for a memorable group holiday. And unlike a hotel you can use your pool anytime you choose, day or night. Given the number of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms, the villa itself can easily accommodate two or three families wishing to holiday together or a large extended multi generational family. Alternatively the villa can host team building sessions or activity groups: we have successfully hosted several groups from Semmelweiss and Munich Universities. There are extra beds and rooms so the property can be configured to provide more accomodation than the official figure of twelve. Important note: to avoid any misunderstanding additional accommodation is priced on a per head basis. All rooms are fitted with desks and chairs to facilitate remote working From a young family point of view we can provide amenities such as cot beds, high chairs, a playpen, toys and sandpit, large fully enclosed trampoline, etc. The nine metre by five metre pool has been designed with a shallow end for young children complete with an in pool seating level for comfortable adult supervision (coincidentally works well, as we have discovered over the years, with a glass of wine or beer). The pool is not heated so is only in use from the end of May to mid September (weather permitting) Families can cater pool side with a second kitchen (electric cooker and fridge) so no one misses the fun preparing the food! Meals/snacks can be consumed in the large gazebo next to the outside kitchen and pool shaded from the sun. There is a round table and ten chairs in the gazebo and more chairs are available if needed. There are plentiful sun loungers around the pool for comfortable rest and relaxation in the sun. The outside kitchen has an integral real wood BBQ as well as a wood burning pizza and bread baking oven (wood is supplied). There is also a large Weber Espirit gas BBQ on the main terrace which can be moved next to the pool if required. The cooking opportunities are varied with a traditional Hungarian Bogrács: this is a large cauldron used over an open fire to cook Goulash (this is for the purists: personally I like cooking curries in the cauldron outside) There is a large fire pit for the Bogrács conveniently near the outside kitchen and it is equipped with log benches seating up to 15 people. Again wood is supplied. However, you will need to bring your own guitar for camp fire entertainment 😁 All the features and amenities you would expect in a family home are here plus a few extra: Naturally chilled mineral water from our deep private well. No need for bottled water while you are here! The majority of our past guests have commented on the exceptional quality of the water. For our money this is the finest area in Hungary for wine. This area is a real hidden treasure for wine lovers. Other things to note Additional Important Notes: This is strictly not a party venue. This is the real countryside so if bugs worry you this is probably not the right place to stay. Traditional thick villa walls so variable internet in places inside but fine outside (even with boosters!) Unmade road accessing the property is bumpy in places: you need to drive slowly and carefully for several sections. Although smoking is permitted outside we would kindly request people to dispose of cigarette ends in ashtrays provided and not in the flower beds or on the lawn. Registration Details MA23065757
