Come relax and unwind in our beautiful two bedroom traditional stone cottage completely refurbished and extended in 2006. Situated on a large private garden in peaceful private scenic countryside the cottage can sleep 5 adults and an infant. Excellent location for exploring the North and West of the country as well as fishing, boating, walking or just relaxing. Free 500gb WI-Fi The space About this space Accommodation: Two bedrooms: one double room and one twin room A day-bed in the back living room (4 beds total, sleeps 5) Cot available on request One bathroom with toilet and power shower The main downstairs area is an open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room featuring a wood-burning stove set in the original 18th-century stone fireplace. The separate back living room includes satellite TV, an open fire, and a sofa bed. The entire ground floor is finished with traditional Liscannor stone. Heating is provided by electric panel heaters in every room, and electric blankets are available if needed. All beds have brand-new mattresses as of October 2025. The cottage is 1550 sq. ft., fully cleaned before your arrival, with beds made up, towels supplied, and extra linen provided. Appliances include: washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and espresso coffee machine. For families, stair gates, high chair, fire guard, and cot are available on request (please note: no baby blankets). Music lovers will enjoy the 1970s Yamaha organ on the landing, as well as the acoustic guitar and bodhrán in the living room. Guest access Guests have full use of the large private garden with picnic bench and space to park up to four cars. The Location The cottage is a 20 min walk from Castlefore lake. There are lots of fishing lakes in the area and places to hike or walk. The local village has two pubs that do food, only a 10 min drive away. There is a public playground at the end of the lane.
