Thornkloof Farm (Cottage)

Come join us for a tranquil farm retreat, just 27km outside Grahamstown. We have a 4 sleeper lodge, great for families and a 3 sleeper, thatched rondavel, perfect for couples getaway. This listing is for the lodge. As an ex game farm, there is an incredible diversity of both fauna and flora, found nowhere else. Have a baai, fire up the pizza oven or just laze at the pool with a drink breathing in the fresh air. Please enquire in advance of the booking if you have a low clearance vehicle. The space The farm is situated at the end of a servitude, so there wont be any noise from passing cars or highways. Both accommodation options are fully furnished and have a bathroom and shower. While there is no 'self catering' options, there are braai facilities and the option of firing up the infamous pizza oven. Meals and infamous home baked treats can also be arranged on request. Please note that access to the farm is via a dust road that varies in condition and there is a short 2km farm road that also varies in condition. While accessible with careful driving, vehicles with very low clearance are cautioned as to the road condition. Please Contact us in advance of a booking. Otherwise we can arrange for transport from Grahamstown. Guest access Please note this is a working farm and you can get up and close to wildlife, even in the garden.
