The Grove, Fownhope

Our 18th Century cottage has been newly renovated for a blend of modern comfort and historical charm. Perfect for families and groups, the house has a sun room overlooking the large garden, spacious living areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and 4 bedrooms. The Grove is located in the peaceful Wye Valley National Landscape, with views out to the Brecon Beacons and a short drive from Hereford, Malvern Hills, and the Forest of Dean. We welcome both dogs and people to walk, relax, and enjoy! The space The Grove has 4 bedrooms: a large double, a medium double/ twin room (detachable beds), a medium twin room, and a small single room for 7 total guests. There are two bathrooms, one on each floor. The upstairs bathroom has a shower, sink, and toilet. The downstairs bathroom has a shower/bath, sink, and a separate toilet. There is a fully equipped kitchen: electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kitchenware, sink. There is a large main living room with a log burner, a games room, and a sun room - where guests will find a bench-style dining area. Guest access The entire house is accessible for guests excluding a locked storage room off of the main living room. The woodshed at the end of the driveway is not accessible for guests. Other things to note As a result of this being an older property, there are a couple of low beams, accompanied by warning notices, which we ask our taller guests to keep an eye out for!
