Casa Konada
Casa Konada
Description
A heritage-inspired private villa in Alibag, built with stone, teak, and a love for Indian hospitality. Raw stone walls, Shahabad flooring, soaring ceilings, and Saagwan teak furniture. Carved wall niches and Khunti pegs nod to the grand Maharashtrian Wadas of old. The pool, inspired by ancient temple Kundas, has a red stone Gomukh fountain — peaceful and unlike any holiday home. Fully private. Konkan coast 30 minutes away from all beaches. Come as guests. Leave as family! The space Built on ancient load-bearing stone construction with raw natural stone walls and warm Shahabad stone flooring throughout. Soaring ceilings keep spaces light and airy. Old-growth Saagwan teak furniture fills every room. The pool is inspired by ancient temple Kundas, framed in red stone with a Gomukh fountain that spills water gently down the wall. Guest access Guests have full and exclusive access to the entire villa and its grounds — the living spaces, all bedrooms, kitchen, outdoor areas, and the pool. The property is entirely private; no shared spaces with other guests or the host during your stay. Other things to note Casa Konada is built by a father and son — the father shaping every wall after long days serving in the Police Force. Carved Konada niches and Khunti wall pegs are placed throughout as cultural details honouring the grand Wada homes of old Maharashtra. The raw stone and teak are intentional! this is a home, not a resort.
