Gazebo Lodge is a high-spec luxury lodge, located within a mile of the picturesque Suffolk market town of Woodbridge. The property is ideally suited to couples looking to explore Woodbridge, the surrounding countryside and the Suffolk coast – on foot, by car or by bike. Please note: - We only accept pet-free bookings. - People with reduced mobility may find some areas of the space restrictive. - If you are booking on behalf of someone else, please let the host know via a direct message. The space The lodge interior, inspired by Scandinavian living and fully renovated in 2021, has been constructed utilising expertly crafted birch ply, complemented by solid oak floors. No expense has been spared to ensure our guests enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay. The lodge has a private outdoor space with a table, chairs and a large parasol. The lodge also comes complete with a free-to-use 7.2kw electric car charger. Guest access The lodge has a covered parking space complete with a free-to-use electric vehicle charger. Located within a minute's drive of the A12, the lodge can be directly accessed from London and the Midlands. For your information, there are only two sets of traffic lights between leaving London's North Circular Road and the lodge. Woodbridge railway station is found within one mile of the lodge, with services running to London and Cambridge, via Ipswich. Other things to note Voted the happiest place to live in the UK by Rightmove in 2024 and the best place to live in the east of England by the Sunday Times in 2021, Woodbridge enjoys a wide variety of excellent eateries, numerous traditional pubs and a wonderful independent cinema, The Riverside. The Thoroughfare – the market town's main street, which was shortlisted in the Great British High Street Awards 2018 – is a half-mile pedestrianised stretch that plays host to dozens of independent shops, boutiques and cafes. Sutton Hoo – the National Trust-run Anglo-Saxon burial site recently brought to global attention by the movie, The Dig – overlooks Woodbridge from the north bank of the River Deben The prestigious coastal towns of Southwold, Aldeburgh and Walberswick can be reached via short drives (or longish bike rides) from the lodge. The region is also home to an excellent selection of arts organisations, including Snape Maltings, the New Wolsey Theatre and DanceEast.
