Luxury Barn with Hot Tub ideal for Family getaways

A LUXURY MODERN BARN CONVERSION WITH HOT TUB Recently converted Barn set in the heart of a rural village, 4 miles from the historic town of Howden, 18 miles from the historic town of Beverley and 20 miles from the picturesque city of York. The Barn is perfect for families of all ages who are looking for a luxury getaway wishing to spend quality time together. We have a fabulous Jacuzzi Hot Tub where you can sit, relax and enjoy with your friends and family. The space The Barn has recently been lovingly furnished to a high standard and is large and spacious, just perfect for the whole family to enjoy. We have well maintained landscaped gardens, a summerhouse and a great patio area with a large 8 seater table and chairs for outdoor dining. We have recently installed festoon lighting above the outdoor dining area which look great lit up in the evenings. A gas BBQ is also available for you to use. The Barn has large vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and underfloor heating throughout. The main Barn consists of three bedrooms (two upstairs and one downstairs) with bedroom four located in the adjacent annexe called ‘The Smock,’ which has a kingsize bed, en-suite shower room, TV, Alexa dot and Tea and Coffee making facilities. Our new fabulous 6 seater Jacuzzi Hot Tub has multiple hydrotherapy jets, multi-coloured lights and is located under cover, so not only are you protected from all weathers it's very private. You will still be able to gaze up at the stars at night and have views over the landscaped garden. Our Hot Tub area includes artificial grass which is nice under foot when getting in and out and has additional seating, festoon lighting and hooks for your towels to ensure your Hot Tub experience is a relaxing and enjoyable one. We also have a lovely little summerhouse which is a particularly nice place to sit with a nice glass of wine or a cold beer and will seat four people, it overlooks the garden and Hot Tub area. Guest access LOCAL AREA: There are plenty of great walks and public footpaths along the nearby riverbank for those wishing to either walk or take a stroll, the walks vary in distance and are suitable for all ages and fitness levels, especially as the local area is pretty flat. We also have several cycling routes in the surrounding area so if you would like to bring your bikes please do so. The garage is a large safe, secure, and dry place for storing your bikes during your stay. We have 8 individual wall mounted bike racks, please bring your own bike lock should you wish to lock your bike. An outside tap and hose to wash down your bikes after a muddy ride or to clean the mud off your walking boots is available. We have also provided shelving for you to store your boots/shoes, helmets, and any other cycling equipment. A sink is also provided in the garage to wash down any dirty items. ‘The Smock’ houses a laundry room where there is a washing machine and tumble drier for your use during your stay. An iron and ironing board is available to use in the main Barn. Other things to note IMPORTANT CLEANING: We follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: Our cleaning team sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknobs and use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies. They wear protective equipment whilst cleaning to help prevent cross-contamination. Each room is cleaned using extensive cleaning checklists and we also provide our guests with extra cleaning supplies so you can clean surfaces down during your stay. We have provided sanitiser gel in a dispenser located next to the entrance door for your use during your stay together with a pack of face masks and travel size hand gel just in case you have left yours at home. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Our location is a quiet and relaxing place and is not suitable for Stag, Hen, same sex groups or parties, so if you are looking for this apologies this location is not suitable for you. During your stay you will be required to keep noise to a minimum. Our quiet hours are 10.30pm to 8am and we request all guests to adhere to this particularly in the Hot Tub and Garden Area. PARKING: The Barn has its own driveway for parking up to 3 cars, possibly 4, subject to size of vehicle. You may also park outside the barn gates on South Street which is a small lane. THE BARN: The open plan kitchen is a great space to hang out with your family. Guests will be able to use this space as if it is their own with a well equipped new modern kitchen, a large table and seating area, a Nespresso coffee machine for those coffee lovers, a built-in dishwasher, a large capacity oven and hob capable of cooking for 8 people and a Gin station for those Gin lovers. The kitchen adjoins an open plan living area which seats 8 people comfortably, whether this is to sit around the log effect remote controlled fire and chat, watch TV or play some of the games we have provided, which includes a Wii console and the following Wii games :- Wii sports, Wii Party, Just Dance, Pro Evolution Soccer, Sonic & the Secret Rings, Mario & Sonic & Olympic Games, Table Tennis, Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf and Big Brain Academy.
