Walking through the alleys of this ancient village you can admire Palazzo della Corgna dating back to the mid-1500s and the magnificent medieval fortress with the Pentagonal-shaped Lion Castle built in 1247. Castiglione del Lago organizes numerous cultural and recreational events among which we can remember the Tulip Festival in April where the allegorical floats made with tulip petals, the Spring Meeting, Coloriamo I cieli, Trasimeno Blues and the Night parade along with the historical parades Bianca.
