Welcome in our beautiful cottage on the peninsula of Scheid, located on the beautiful Edersee. Rest and clear your head? This is the place for you! The space The Edersee as a holiday region is best known for relaxing time in nature, the possibility of various outdoor sports and exploring romantic little towns. This scenery includes our recreational offerings. Our house is located on the Scheid peninsula, just a few minutes drive from the biggest attractions on the Edersee and yet wonderfully quiet and shielded. Due to many investments and a lot of diligence in recent years, we can now offer you an extensive package of both wellness and sports facilities in our vacation home. The offers can be booked. In the garden there is a heated, covered pool, sauna, leisure room with a ping pong table, an outdoor sports area of the possibilities for volleyball, badminton (yes, we also have nets for that:)) and for playing basketball. There is also a gym with a solid basic equipment as well as a small outdoor power station. The whole thing is rounded off by a trampoline, a swing frame for children as well as a spacious covered barbecue and seating area in the garden. Pool, sauna and gym together cost 300 euros per stay, regardless of the number of guests. Inside the house you can expect 3.5 freshly modernized bedrooms, two renovated bathrooms with toilet, a modern kitchen with newly furnished living and dining area, a terrace as well as a cozy basement bar still in the original style, for beautiful evenings of sitting together together. If you have nothing to say, there are also two TVs available for use. Wi-Fi is of course available free of charge. We are particularly proud of our latest innovation, namely a heat pump built in this year with a solar system that supplies the entire house and the pool with green electricity. Two extra beds can be provided on request. In addition, there are two pull-out, large sofas with more sleeping options. The area is characterized by a variety of leisure options. Some of them are now mentioned. Things to do near: - Water sports at Edersee (diving, windsurfing, paddle boarding, water skiing) - Hiking and biking in the basement forest (e.g. on the 68 km long jungle trail Edersee) - Edersse climbing park - Edersee summer toboggan run Interesting cities nearby: - Korbach (about 20.) - Bad Wildungen (approx. 30 km) - Fritzlar (approx. 35 km) - Willingen (approx. 45 km) --> in winter you can ski there - Kassel (approx. 55 km) --> ideal for cozy shopping and best known for the Documenta and the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe" Guest access The Guests may use the whole house. In the garden of the property, there is a covered pool with hot water and sauna. The additional fees for use of this facility are €300.00 per week It is possible that if the pool fails, the repair may not be carried out immediately. In such cases, the guest will receive the money back for the pool. Other things to note The price does not include bed linen and towels. I am very happy when my guests bring their own bedding and towels. Of course, I will provide these (1x bed linen - €20.00, bath and hand towel - €5.00) if you, dear guests, do not have the opportunity to bring your own. On the island of Scheid, a spa tax of currently €1 per person per night (children 13 years and older) is charged. The corresponding documents and spa card can be found in the house. Please pay the cash amount at departure. This is all in the information folder in the house. Since the balls I created for the basketball hoop and the volleyball court have regularly disappeared, I also ask them to bring their own balls if they plan to use the sports facilities. Thank you
