Welcome to our beautiful vacation home on the Scheid peninsula, located on the beautiful Edersee. Relax and clear your head? Then this is the place for you! The space The Edersee as a holiday region is best known for relaxing time in nature, the opportunity for various outdoor sports and the exploration of romantic small towns. Our recreational offer is part of this scenery. Our house is located on the Scheid peninsula, just a few minutes by car from the biggest attractions on Lake Edersee, yet wonderfully quiet and secluded. Thanks to many investments and a lot of diligence in recent years, we can now offer you an extensive package of both wellness and sports facilities in our vacation home. The offers can be booked. In the garden there is a heated, covered pool, a sauna, a leisure room with a ping pong table, an outdoor sports area with opportunities for volleyball, badminton (yes, we also have nets for that :)) and basketball. There is also a gym with solid basic equipment as well as a small outdoor power station. The whole is rounded off by a trampoline, a swing frame for children and a spacious covered barbecue and seating area in the garden. The pool, sauna and fitness room together cost 300 euros per stay, regardless of the number of guests. Inside the house, you will find 3.5 newly modernized bedrooms, two renovated bathrooms with toilet, a modern kitchen with a newly furnished living and dining area, a terrace and a cozy, still original-style cellar bar, for nice evenings of sitting together. If you don't have anything to say to each other, two TVs are also available for use. Wi-Fi is of course available free of charge. We are particularly proud of our latest innovation, namely a heat pump with solar system installed this year, which supplies the whole house and the pool with green electricity. Two extra beds can be provided upon request. In addition, there are two extendable, large sofas with additional sleeping options. The area is characterized by a variety of leisure activities. Some of which are now mentioned. Activities nearby: - Water sports on Lake Edersee (diving, windsurfing, paddling, swimming, water skiing) - Hiking and cycling in the Kellerwald (e.g. on the 68 km long Edersee jungle trail) - Edersse climbing park - Summer toboggan run Edersee Interesting cities nearby: - Korbach (about 20 km) - Bad Wildungen (about 30 km) - Fritzlar (about 35 km) - Willingen (about 45 km) -> in winter you can go skiing there - Kassel (about 55 km) -> ideal for leisurely shopping and especially known for the Documenta and the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe" Guest access Guests can use the whole house. In the garden of the property there is a covered pool with hot water and sauna. The additional fees for using this facility are € 300.00 per week. It is possible that if the pool fails, the repair may not be able to be carried out immediately. In such cases, the guest will receive the money back for the pool. Other things to note The price includes neither bed linen nor towels. I am delighted when my guests bring their own bedding and towels. Of course, I will provide these (1x bed linen - €20.00, bath and hand towel - €5.00) if you, dear guests, do not have the opportunity to bring your own. On the island of Scheid, a spa tax of currently €1 per night per person (children from 13 years) is levied. The corresponding documents and visitor's card can be found in the house. Please pay the amount in cash on departure. This is all in the information folder in the house. Since the balls I bought for the basketball hoop and the volleyball court have regularly disappeared, I also ask you to bring your own balls if you plan to use the sports facilities. Thank you
