PARKING AND PUBLIC TRANSPORT Public, unlimited, free parking is available by the house on the high street. We recommend that you bring a car for the easiest way to arrive and get around, but buses and trains are also available. (To visit Edinburgh we recommend parking at a station and taking the train as it is both much quicker and city parking can be difficult). If you do not have a car though, buses and taxis are available to get to and from train stations. Alloa (2 miles away) is the nearest train station, offering regular direct train connections during the day and evening to Glasgow Queen Street, Edinburgh, and Stirling. You can catch a connecting local bus (e.g., the Stagecoach service) directly from Clackmannan to Alloa which takes just a few minutes. Taxis are also available.
