Casa Klaus: between lake and olive trees

The old oil mill was the residence of a Russian-Belgian couple for 20 years, until it was acquired in 1977 by the German painter Klaus Bendixen, who established his studio there. The house has been completely restored, the original character preserved as far as possible. The lower floor has a size of about 90 m². There is a large public car park in the village. Leave your vehicle at the height of the ancient chapel of San Biagio from where an old donkey trail leads you to Casa Klaus after 150 meters. Directions via Motorway A10 - Genova Ventimiglia, exit San Bartolomeo al mare, then reach Diano Marina Borgo Muratori in 10 to 15 minutes.
