The cozy, covered balcony with fantastic lake views is available for your exclusive use during your stay. It is a special retreat at any time of day – whether for breakfast in the morning sun, for a cup of coffee in between, or for a relaxing end to the day. Even when it's raining, you can fully enjoy the panoramic view of the lake and the tranquility of the surrounding nature here. A special highlight is the wild, romantic country garden with fruit trees, berry bushes, roses, and all kinds of flowering perennials. Depending on the season, new floral displays emerge here, accompanied by butterflies, bumblebees, dragonflies and a variety of different bird species. The idyllic swimming area with a barbecue area is just a few steps away. Whether alone, as a couple, with friends or with family – everyone will find their favorite spot here. Free charging and secure storage for e-bikes and bicycles in the barn. The train station is just a 5-minute walk away. Fast WiFi – ideal for working from home. A yoga mat and a yantra mat are provided for you. Two SUPs can be rented. ENCHANTING & IDYLLIC - Close to Konstanz, the fishing village of Ermatingen and the picturesque village of Gottlieben – yet off the beaten tourist track. Everything is a little slower here. You can let your mind wander in the garden, enjoy a picnic by the lake, hop on your bike to the nearest weekly market, take the train to Konstanz, or simply stroll through the fields and admire the stunning view from the Seerücken ridge over the Untersee to the island of Reichenau. Here you can forget about makeup and walk barefoot. LOCATION & SURROUNDINGS The immediate surroundings are characterized by tranquility, open spaces and a relaxed, rural atmosphere. At the same time, you can easily reach Konstanz in about ten minutes by bike. Shopping facilities and a very good train connection are also nearby. The Lake Constance cycle path starts not far from the house. A place that is ideal for anyone who wants to combine nature and the city while also exploring the surrounding area. The property is located in the historic center of the village of Triboltingen – charming and quiet, in the last house before the lakeshore, and with lots of original character. The idyllic swimming area in the middle of the Espenriet nature reserve is just a few steps away. Whether swimming in the summer, taking a walk in the fall, or observing the diverse birdlife in the winter – this special place enchants in every season. Right on the lake, there is also a fire pit and grill area with wood. Around the property, beautiful paths lead along the lake or over the hills with fantastic views of the Untersee and the surrounding countryside. The most beautiful routes for cycling, jogging and walking start right outside our door. In summer, life takes place in and by the water. You can swim in the lake, go out on a SUP board, or discover the Untersee from a boat. In the fall, when the heat has dissipated, it becomes quieter by the lake, and the surrounding area invites you to take long walks, hikes and bike rides. Konstanz also shows its relaxed side at this time, offering many opportunities for strolling, shopping and culture. If you want to go further afield, you can reach the Alps in Appenzell for a day trip by car or train. In the fall, there are beautiful hikes there, and in the winter, day trips for skiing or snowboarding are possible. Larger ski resorts in Switzerland and Austria can be reached by car in about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Likewise, Zurich CITY and Airport can be reached in about 1 hour by car or train. We are always happy to provide you with personal tips – including those away from the crowds. Our FARM is a place to arrive and take a deep breath in every season – a retreat, a starting point for discoveries and perhaps also a think tank. Guest access The apartment is on the second floor and has a private entrance with a staircase. Access is via the cozy, covered balcony with lake views. Other things to note GOOD TO KNOW Dear guests: We are not a luxury hotel, but rather an inn where well-being and nature are the focus. With us, it's often the little things that make the difference. Depending on the season, our guests enjoy fresh eggs from our chickens, herbs from the garden, or a small bouquet of flowers. In addition, we share our personally selected favorite places around Lake Constance – far off the beaten tourist track. Small gestures that make your stay even more special. The covered balcony is at your sole disposal during your stay, and the garden is there for everyone, where everyone can find their favorite spot. 3 hens, 3 Blacknose sheep and 2 tomcats also look forward to company. Parents are responsible for their children. You can request a babysitter from us, and we will be happy to arrange one. The apartment is located on the second floor and is accessible via stairs only. Therefore, access may not be suitable for people with mobility issues or for some dogs. THE FARM and the lake live to the rhythm of the seasons and the weather. The garden changes: Plants bloom, bear fruit, or go dormant. Depending on the water level, the lake also sometimes has a wide shore and sometimes reaches all the way to the land. Always different – but always beautiful, too. We also lovingly update the décor with fresh, seasonal details time and again – so that you feel welcome at THE FARM from the very first moment. Looking forward to seeing you soon! STUDIO You can also book the separate, 35 m² GARDEN STUDIO for two additional persons. It is located in the lovingly converted barn with its own entrance and features a cozy double bed, a sofa, a kitchenette, a shower and toilet, a separate dressing area, and a table with two chairs that is also suitable for working from home. It is ideal for couples who are friends, families or multiple generations traveling together but who don't want to give up their privacy. BOOK The minimum stay in our apartment is two nights – but five is even better. This leaves more time to settle in and enjoy, while at the same time resulting in fewer turnovers and less resource consumption. And we think that the real Lake Constance feeling only sets in when you have a bit of time to spare. Thanks to our excellent internet connection, you can also easily work from home for one or more days – and then immediately relax and feel free. PARKING There is no private parking available directly on our FARM. Of course, you are welcome to park briefly in the farmyard to load and unload. However, there is a public parking lot in the immediate vicinity. From October to April, parking there is free. During the summer season, the fee is CHF 10.50 per day; you can park there free of charge between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. Card payment is accepted. You can also get around here without a car – great public transport and great bike paths. 🐾 DOGS Well-behaved and house-trained dogs can be brought along upon prior consultation and express approval. For this, we charge an additional flat-rate cleaning fee of CHF 40 plus CHF 5 per day of stay.
