The space Overlooking the Beautiful South Wales Mountains Overlooking the beautiful South Wales mountains, you can be as active or as relaxed as you wish during your stay. Getting Around Crosskeys train station is just a 4-minute walk away (270 yards). From there, you can catch a train to Cardiff or Newport, making it easy to attend events and explore the surrounding areas. Cardiff and Newport are approximately 30 minutes away by train. Cwmcarn Forest Cwmcarn Forest is a must-see! It has a beautiful lake, park, café and scenic drive, which is open to cars from 21st June. There are also excellent walking and mountain biking trails, including the red-graded Cafall and legendary Twrch trails, offering something for all levels of fitness and ability. Canal Walks The canal bank is just a short walk away and provides a lovely route from Pontywaun towards Newport and onwards to Monmouth. It is perfect for a relaxing stroll or a longer walk. The House You can relax and enjoy the lovely home, with its bright and comfortable indoor spaces, or make the most of the garden and man cave. The man cave includes: * Bar seating * Television * Fridge * Optics * A well-lit dartboard Please note: darts are for guests aged 18 and over only. Kitchen The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including: * Smart TV * Electric oven * Ninja air fryer * Ninja blender * Bread maker * Microwave * And much more Bathroom There is a large downstairs bathroom with a gas-heated shower. Complimentary toiletries are provided, including shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Toilet rolls and toothbrushes with toothpaste are also provided. Bedrooms There are two bedrooms, each with a comfortable double bed. A travel cot is also available. Both bedrooms have large, wall-mounted smart TVs, and one of the bedrooms also has a PS4. Lounge & Dining Area The lounge has a television, DVD player and another PS4. There is also a selection of DVDs and PS4 games for guests to enjoy during their stay. For those who prefer a quieter evening, there is a bookcase filled with books, along with a good selection of board games and jigsaws. Please note: The stairs are quite steep, so the property may not be suitable for very young children or guests with limited mobility, including some elderly guests. The dining room has a large table that seats six people, making it a great place to enjoy a meal, work, read or simply sit and take in the beautiful mountain views through the window. Whether you’re looking for outdoor adventures, somewhere to relax, or a comfortable base for exploring South Wales, the house has everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
