The Piggery @ Honeymoon Cottage

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space, in the quiet village of Dodford. A self contained apartment with its own private access. A beautiful stone built property, situated by the stream. The Piggery is ideally located away from the main road, surrounded by fields, with no immediate neighbours. It's equi-distant to both wedding venues (Dodford Manor and Dodmoor House) which are just a 5-10 minute walk, less than half a mile. Silverstone circuit is a 20 minute drive (15 miles). The space The Piggery is a self-contained apartment adjoining the beautiful, ironstone built Honeymoon Cottage. Right next to the stream. If you are attending one of the nearby wedding venues, why not make a long weekend of it! Plenty of walks from the doorstep and a canal passing through the village. Have a stroll along the banks and watch the narrow boats idle by, or carry on a bit further to a canalside pub. The property itself: Upstairs there are superb views from the enormous window room. Relax with a cup of tea in the mornings in the two comfortable chairs overlooking the rose garden. Or star gaze at night. The spacious bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite bathroom complete with cast iron claw foot bath as well as a spacious shower cubicle. Open the patio doors and watch the sun rise from the comfort of your bed. On the ground level there's a large sitting room, with reclining sofa, woodburner and TV. An Alexa pod can play your choice of music if you just want to relax and read. There's a small dining table in front of the double patio doors. eat inside with the doors open or step outside to a patio area with a bench and bistro set of chairs and table. A perfect spot to de-stress. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, electric oven and hob. And also a downstairs toilet. If you are travelling to Silverstone for the British Grand Prix, park and ride is available from Sixfields or there is a shuttle bus fromTowcester to avoid race day queues. Feel free to wander around the gardens, vegetable plot and take a peak at the Hobbit House (providing there are no guests staying in it)! Please respect our private patio area and that of the other rental room at the opposite end of the house. That way we all keep a little bit of privacy.
