Visit Historic Nate Harrison’s stone house remains on the property and discover Palomar Mountain’s history. Visit nearby Palomar Observatory & Star Gaze most every night. Amazing Birdwatching here & listen to the Wood Peckers, Red Tailed Hawks & oOo-oOo of the owls. See Indian Metates by the dozens in the area known as "The Kitchen" right outside this guest house. TV in the living room. We are an Off Grid property powered by solar, with Generator(s) Backup. BBQ, Sweat Lodge, Yoga Deck, Incredible Mountain Views Guest access Main Lodge Guests have access to most of the ranch. There is a gas BBQ's on beautiful deck overlooking Pauma valley. Other things to note Harrison Serenity Ranch is accessible by Nate Harrison Grade Road which is a county maintained road. We are 5.8 miles from Highway 76 above Pauma Valley, located on Palomar Mountain . Nate Harrison Grade Road is not recommended for RVs or Trailers over 30 feet as the road is narrow. Most passenger cars will have no problem traveling up the grade. There is alternative access via S6 near Lake Henshaw: this direction has a 3 mile downhill section of Nate Harrison Grade Road that is rougher and is not usually recommended unless traveling to Palomar Observatory from Harrison Serenity Ranch. The road is an adventure for sure, but trust us, Its safe and part of the fun getting here!
