Located on Maryland's Eastern Shore in a quiet neighborhood and surrounded by farms. With 2 state parks within 10 minutes there is plenty to explore for those looking to experience the outdoors in a beautiful setting away from the crowds. Walk to the picturesque Tuckahoe River at Hilsboro Landing with pier, boat ramp and fishing or take a short drive to Tuckahoe State park or Martineck State Park just 5 miles away with hiking trails, Kayaking, Mountain Bike trails and Horseback riding trails. Easy drive to many local wedding venues including Chespaeake Bay Beach Club (24 miles), Tidewater Inn 12 miles) and St. Michaels (23 miles) Multiple nearby Golf Courses including Hoge Neck and Queenstown. With plenty of space and an expansive yard there is room to stay and to play. *Pets are part of the family and are welcome with a $250 Pet Fee and the agreement that the guest clean up after pets both indoors and outdoors as well as pay for any damage associated with the pet just as you would do in your own home. Guest access Enjoy our Eastern Shore Retreat with plenty of space to spread out. The home is set on over an acre of beautiful green grass surrounded by a blooming landscape. The kitchen is fully stocked with spices, cookware, glassware and utensils to make you feel at home in our space. - Garage, Pantry and 3 closets are locked/off limits and guests will not have access to these areas. Gardens are yours to enjoy. If vegetables are ripe you are welcome to enjoy them. What is growing depends on the season and given we have not been in the home as often this year the garden can be overgrown. Someone will be in the yard 2-3 times a week to water the plants and tend to the Dahlia bed in the backyard. You will not be disturbed and this individual is usually in the yard for 10-15 minutes. Pets are welcome with a $250 cleaning fee and the agreement that guest will be responsible for any damage caused by your pets just as you would be in your own home. Other things to note There are 5 smart TV's in the home. Three of the four bedrooms have a TV as well as the main living room and the master bathroom. The property includes fire pit, camp chairs, hammock, Gas Grill, Charcoal Grill and outdoor seating area on the back deck. The house is a family home and has a number of games to choose from including Board Games and Yard Games. You may find a blank canvas hung on the wall. This is intentional as it inspires me. If you feel inspired to paint or create art while at the home feel free to use the canvas and hang the creation back on the wall for future guests to enjoy. Home is in the country and is maintained often as well as being exceptionally cleaned every week. However, being in the country also means there are insects, country sounds and country smells. This is normal and part of enjoying the peace in this beautiful place. You can expect to hear the sound of chickens over the sound of cars. Nature is part of the charm of the "Campbell House"
