From our apartment you have a good starting point for many beautiful hikes and bike rides through the Oberlausitz Biosphere Reserve. Bautzen also invites you to go on excursions due to its proximity. A beautiful old town, as well as memorials (e.g. Stasi-Knast), as well as the Urzoo and the maze are always worth a trip. The Klix glider airfield is only 8 km away and attracts with numerous flight events. Very popular are bike rides to the large swimming lakes in the immediate surroundings. Lake Silbersee is 10 km away, the Dreiweiberner See is 14 km away and the Bärwalder See is about 23 km away It is also possible to enjoy the pond with a traditional fishing tap and explore the existing island.
