It has been in my father’s family for more than two centuries and holds many stories; one that particularly captivated me was the love story of my great-great-grandfather, José Sandalio Pabón Arce (Papa Sayo), and his wife, Balbina Meléndez. She passed away at a young age, leaving him a widower with two sons. Papa Sayo never remarried; instead, he kept a braid of her hair as a token of his love, a keepsake that his great-great-grandchildren still cherish today. I felt a deep personal connection to this story because my wife, Lourdes (Lorde french origin), and I also have two sons. She is my first and only love, and she is currently battling Alzheimer’s; I retired early specifically to dedicate quality time to her during this stage of our lives. That is why I chose to name this property; Villa Lorde, in honor of the eternal love that permeates this very special place. Other features of the house include two air-conditioned bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with bunk beds. The living room includes a double sofa bed, a Smart TV, and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is fully equipped, allowing you to prepare meals just as you would at home. There are an indoor bathroom and a convenient half-bath outside near the pool, which also features an outdoor shower. Large windows allow the breeze to flow through and connect you with the surrounding landscape. The terrace area features a dining table, outdoor furniture, and a traditional-style hammock (Hamaca), perfect for enjoying your morning coffee enjoying the stunning sunrises, or having a lovely lunch or dinner at sunset while listening to the birds with amazing views. A washer and dryer are available for longer stays. The infinity pool lets you enjoy the outdoors and the panoramic views.
