Escape to our luxury off-grid shepherd’s hut on a peaceful family farm with views of grazing horses and countryside walks from your doorstep. Perfect for romantic breaks, dog lovers or guests travelling with horses. Enjoy a private garden, fire pit, BBQ and log-fired hot tub. Inside offers a cosy double bed, log burner, kitchenette and dining area. Country park walks, cafés and Biddulph Grange Gardens are all just a short stroll away. The space Set in its own private enclosed area with views across fields with grazing horses and adjacent farmland. The Shepherds hut is located on our Small Holding but away from the farmhouse and we endeavour to give our guests privacy unless you require assistance or advise of any kind. Accessed by a key safe so you can arrive put the kettle on (milk, tea, coffee and sugar provided) and get settled in. Breakfast packs on request at extra cost (local farm produce) One bag of logs supplied (more available to purchase) The hut itself comprises of a double bed with 'Emma; mattress, goose down duvet and 'Kirsty Alsop' bee design bedding and curtains. Small kitchenette with gas hob, sink, fridge and kettle. Small log burner for those cooler days and two cane arm chairs with cushions. There is a small breakfast bar with two stools. Crockery, pans, cutlery, bbq tools, and glasses provided. Once you step out of the Shepherds hut there is an adjacent hut with shower room and compost w.c. A stainless steel sink for washing up, work top and window with view over the farmland. Enjoy the newly installed log fired hot tub located in a private corner with views over farmland with white fluffy towels and robes for your use. There is also an area with undercover seating for those rainy days with log store. Patio furniture to emjoy sitting and having your morning coffee overlooking the paddocks or in the evening enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Parking available for two cars. Anyone who would like to bring a horse, there is stable next door to the Shepherds Hut with adjacent turn out area. (By prior arrangement) Dogs are welcome, cage can be provided and there are dog tie up facilites. As the hut is off grid, lighting and fridge supplied by solar panels. Once you've settled in you might find you don't move your car again as there are so many walks, places to visit and eating establishments within a few minutes walk from the Hut. Guest access Parking in front of the double wooden gates, access the key safe and walk across the grass with your luggage. Area is private. Other things to note Anyone who would like to bring a horse please get in touch with us. We have two stables, turn out area, two arenas you can ride in and we can provide you with maps of local bridle paths. Haylage and bedding can also be provided. Space for parking a horse box, erection of a tent for extra accommodation considered.
