Whether it's for families, groups of friends, retreats or seminars – here you'll find a place to settle in. The cosy lounge with a pellet stove and the quiet location create a special atmosphere. Your own horses are very welcome by arrangement. Enjoy nature between the Spreewald, Cottbus and the Cottbus Baltic Sea – ideal for taking a deep breath, exploring and switching off. The space The heart of our accommodation is the 60 m² lounge area on the ground floor. This is where families, groups of friends, retreats and seminars meet to cook, eat, play or simply be together. A 5.40-metre-long, solid wooden table offers plenty of space for up to 20 people. Whether it's a shared breakfast, a cooking evening, board games, puzzles, handicrafts, vision boards or workshops – this is where encounters and unforgettable moments are created. The table is so spacious that you can eat, play or work creatively at the same time. Right next door is the fully equipped shared kitchen, which is also set up for up to 20 people. In addition to plenty of dishes and cooking utensils, there is a dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave and everything you need for cooking evenings together. There is also a separate guest toilet with a washbasin on this floor, which is an ideal addition to the common area. The open wooden staircase leads you to the upper floor. From the spacious hallway, you can reach three cosy family rooms and two modern bathrooms with a shower, toilet and washbasin. One of the bathrooms is directly connected to bedroom 1, providing additional convenience. The entire accommodation is characterised by a lot of wood, warm colours and a calm atmosphere – a place to arrive, take a deep breath and feel good. Whether it's a family holiday, a weekend with friends, a retreat or a seminar: here you'll find plenty of space for shared experiences and, at the same time, opportunities for quiet time when you just want to unwind. Guest access You generally book the accommodation as a complete unit with approx. 180 m² of living space. This means that all three family rooms, the shared kitchen, the large lounge area and the bathrooms are exclusively at your disposal. Ideal for families, groups of friends, retreats or seminars. If you only want to use the accommodation for two people or as a small group, please feel free to write to us. Depending on the occupancy rate, we often find an individual solution. Our ranch is an active horse farm with livery horses and fixed operating hours. To ensure that both people and animals feel equally comfortable, we ask that you do not enter the stables or horse pastures on your own. Anyone who would like to get to know the horses better is very welcome: by arrangement, our foals can be visited together with the hostess. In addition, individual appointments can be arranged for ground work, horse encounters or – depending on the offer – riding lessons. Guest horses are also very welcome. If you are planning an intensive training session with your own horse or a group course, we would be happy to help you with the organisation. Our ranch is also home to a number of cats and rabbits, which enrich the relaxed farm life and are particularly popular with animal lovers of all ages. We look forward to providing you with a relaxing stay surrounded by nature, horses and a special ranch atmosphere. Other things to note Additional important information Thunder Horse Ranch is a place to arrive, slow down and feel good. Here you can cook together, play, end the evening by the pellet stove or by the fire pit, and enjoy the tranquillity of nature. The accommodation is ideal for families, groups of friends, seminars, retreats, workshops or simply for a break together. If you would like to get to know the world of horses better, you can book individual appointments for ground work, horse encounters or riding lessons by prior arrangement. Guest horses are also very welcome. Please note that you may not enter the stables or horse pastures on your own, as there are also boarded horses on the ranch. The municipality of Neuhausen/Spree has an excellently developed network of cycle paths. Many varied tours start right at the ranch and lead through forests, meadows, lake landscapes and small villages. Hikers and nature lovers will also get their money's worth here.
