Huge bi fold doors open along the back of the cottage from the Large kitchen onto the patio and decking which spans 12metres. Upstairs the master bedroom also opens up with bifolds onto a balcony to soak up spectacular sunsets. Open plan lounge with huge comfy sofa in front of the old inglenook with wood burner. Surrounded by our gardens & 6 acre field. The Nutshell sits within the garden too The space Rose Farm Cottage & Studios ( which includes The Nutshell) are a collection of old farming buildings. The cottage used to be a barn for cows. The cottage is mainly open plan. A boot room leads to a snug with a cosy log burner and sofa. From this room leads off to 2 double bedrooms with an en-suite in each. .. from the snug thru dividing doors you come into the large lounge with a sumptuous soft leather sofa. Dual aspect windows overlooking the garden. Step down into the large kitchen, here you will find all the necessities including a fridge freezer with cold water and ice cube dispenser. An invisacook hob (instructions will be provided) which allows for greater use of space and more efficient cooking. A smeg double oven with built in microwave & grill. A full size dishwasher. A large round table which sits 8 comfortably. The bifolds open to really enjoy the garden..spectacular! There’s a further wc and utility on the ground floor. Going up the little staircase behind the stained glass door leads you to the best room In the house! The master bedroom with a king sized bed with large bifolds onto a balcony ..it’s like being in a comfy treehouse! Coffee on the balcony in the morning or a glass of wine for the sunset is very special Guest access Rose Farm Cottage sits in with the other old farm buildings..The Nutshell ( please see our other listing) and the Old Cow Shed & Studio. We have a large drive for parking. The one acre garden naturally segments off from the Nutshell. Guests are welcome to wander and explore into our field. ( we ask that guests respect the boundaries with our neighbours in the Farm House. ) The decking is huge and great for outdoor dining. Please ask about dual booking with The Nutshell ( we can host 8 people this way) Other things to note We recycle our rain water having laid french drains and dug soak aways. Our waste water goes through a klargester which purifies the water before it goes across the fields. We politely ask that no other items are flushed down the toilets other that 1s & 2s :) There are ponds, ditches and fencing in the garden which we urge you to take care of yourself:)
