The Cabin at Niel Gow Cottage

Unwind in this cosy cabin with beautiful views and a short walk from the village of Dunkeld . With miles of walks on the doorstep, the Hermitage only a few hundred meters away, mountain biking to keep you busy for a week and comfy sofa to curl up on with a book in front of the woodburning stove, this is the perfect place for an escape. The Cabin is also in the garden of Niel Gow Cottage, historic home of the renowned 18th Century fiddle player. Licence No: PK48183F The space This Cabin is newly built to the highest standards and offers a beautiful cosy space to relax with views over the surrounding area. The space is open plan with small kitchen area, a very comfortable sofa and woodburning stove. The sleeping area, with king sized bed, can be closed off with a curtain. The shower room includes an electric shower. Although built as a ‘Cabin’ it has the services of a home including hot water and electricity. The space has been created to provide a relaxing retreat to read, unwind, enjoy food and chill after a day outdoors. Although limited in size, the kitchen has been created to suit guests who enjoy cooking as part of their holiday. The Rangemaster electric oven with induction hob should make cooking a dream. There is a small fridge with icebox inside to store your supplies. For those who enjoy sitting at a table to enjoy a meal or need to do some work we have a fold out table which makes it a very versatile space. Guest access The decking outside the Cabin is perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee in the sun, or a beer and a blether in the evening. The Cabin is at the end of the host’s garden, it is not overlooked by the main house and it has its own entrance. The grass area immediately around the Cabin is yours to enjoy. We (your hosts) will not interrupt or intrude on your outside time but may need to pass through the wider area of garden to get to our vegetable patch/cut grass/tend garden from time to time.
