Historic cabin modernly renovated in the Isar Valley

Lovingly and high-quality renovated log cabin (large living room with kitchen, modern bathroom and one bedroom) with a large garden in the idyllic farming village of Irschenhausen in the Isar Valley. Ideal for 2 people as a base for trips to Munich, Lake Starnberg, Lake Ammersee or the Bavarian Alps. Enjoy the tranquility and authentic country life – with cowbells and the crowing of roosters in the morning. Easily accessible by car; the S-Bahn is about a 25-minute walk away. The space The cottage consists of a spacious living room with an integrated new cooking island (induction stove, oven, dishwasher, very good other cooking equipment), a cozy dining area, a sofa that can also serve as a sofa bed, and a reading chair. An old cast-iron wood-burning stove provides comfortable warmth in the cold season. In a small bedroom there is a double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a small wardrobe for clothes. The bathroom is completely newly furnished. The washer and dryer in the basement are welcome to be used. Other things to note Irschenhausen is a real old farming village and is located about 25 km south of the city center of Munich in the Isar Valley. By S-Bahn (suburban train) (about 7 minutes away by car, 25 minutes on foot), you can reach the city center in about 35 minutes. The cabin is in the middle of the village, not directly on a road. It can be reached via an access road and is surrounded by a large garden. Even though you are surrounded by neighbors' houses, it is still sheltered and quiet. A small natural pond is located below the cabin on the property (more or less full depending on the rainfall). Shopping is available in Icking (REWE) and Ebenhausen (Edeka, Rossmann, pharmacy). The Landgasthaus Rittergütl, which is only a few minutes' walk away, offers a nice place to stop for a break. Other restaurants can be found in the neighboring villages of Schäftlarn and Icking. Right outside the cottage, you can take many beautiful walks, for example, to the reservoir in Icking (a beautiful swimming lake), to the Isar or simply through the surrounding forests. Lake Starnberg is about 15-20 minutes away by car, and the Bavarian Alps can be reached in about 45 minutes by car. After an intensive renovation and modernization phase, we are happy to welcome guests who can spend nice and relaxing days there.
