In this comfortable forest cottage, you'll feel the peace and quiet as soon as you park your car. Birdsong fills the air, and what a spacious garden with a magnificent view! Here you can relax and enjoy the nature and your company for the next few days. From both the cottage and the garden, you have unobstructed views of the nature reserve. In the guestbook, you can read about all the birds we've spotted, and we'll provide you with all sorts of tips for things to do in the area. The space The holiday home is very quietly located in the middle of an enclosed forest garden of 1,100m2 and has a lot of privacy. It is comfortably furnished with a living/dining room, open kitchen, spacious shower, separate toilet and 2 bedrooms. Everywhere in the house you have a view of the garden and you can see the birds flying around. The largest bedroom has a quality box spring bed from Swiss Sense with separate topper. The other room has a solid bunk bed suitable for children and adult. The kitchen has everything you need to make a good meal and there are all kinds of extras such as a washing machine, fast wifi, Nespresso and filter coffee machine, milk frother, board games, Lego, blocks, reading books, comic books, nature and bird books, a record player with many LPs and a hammock. No TV, which many guests love. You can watch TV via the large computer screen linked to a laptop, or via a dongle, Ipad etc. The fenced garden borders a meadow of Natuurmonumenten and behind it is the Doldersummerveld. In the garden several seating areas, a hammock, wood stove with relax chairs and a bench in front of the house under the roof to sit in bad weather and enjoy the view. From the house you can start all kinds of walking and cycling routes. there is a lot to see to do in the area, many forests, heaths, sand dunes, watchtowers, dolmens, the Unesco Colonies of Benevolence are nearby. There is a lot to do for all ages. To keep the costs accessible to everyone, linen is optional (€15 p.p.). Other things to note Bed linen (mattress cover, duvet cover, towels, bath mat and kitchen towels) is not included. We work with a laundry service that picks up and returns the linen clean. This keeps the stay affordable for guests who prefer to bring their own. If you'd like to use the linen package, you can book it separately after reservation for €15 per person. Mattress and pillow protectors are always provided. Charging electric cars is possible via a 220-volt outlet. Charging costs are not included and will be billed afterwards.
