King Bed, Spacious 2 bdrm; Elegant Historic Suite

This Historic Building is in the heart of Gaffney, 11 blocks to Limestone College, 5 blocks to downtown and next door to the Overhead T-Bridge (1 of only 2 in the world). The second floor, 2 bedroom apartment has beautiful hardwood floors, high ceilings, and large windows. A full kitchen with all you need and laundry room downstairs available for your use. Please note: This suite is next to the railroad tracks and the train comes through town frequently. The space The master bedroom has a lovely, comfy king bed and sitting area with 2 cozy chairs and ottoman. High ceilings, large windows, and ceiling fan give the feel of a past era. An iron and ironing board are in the closet. Bath is in hall between the bedroom and the living room with shower and tub. The second bedroom has a full bed, futon, and chair. Family Room has couch, chair and 55 inch TV. You'll find some games, cards, magazines, and books. Central air and heat, wifi, and lots of hooks throughout (for coats, bags, etc). The kitchen has a full set of pots and pans, crock pot, microwave, full stove, full refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glasses and hopefully all you need to in your home away from home. Please let us know if we missed anything, we want you comfortable and our guests have provided terrific input over the years. Guest access This is a second-floor apartment in a Building which has office space downstairs and residential units upstairs. Entry into the building is a common back door and the apartment entry door is up the stairs. Other things to note The building is next to the railroad tracks and we have trains regularly come through town. We have recently added white noise machines in each bedroom and have disposable ear-plugs, if you need them. This is second floor so you will be walking upstairs to get to the apartment. Access to the building is a common area back door. This apartment is a mixed use building with business offices (downstairs) and residential units (upstairs). Although we have never had complaints over the years, keep in mind that others live or are staying next to you. You may hear them or they may hear you on occasion. While we don't expect this to be a problem, we want you to be aware of the arrangements. We are renovating other parts of the building but do the work when we have no guests. Just note that some of the common areas downstairs (not in your unit) may be halfway completed when you arrive.
