Cabin with amazing lake view

Here you can enjoy the panoramic view both outside and inside! By the coast it is fascinating regardless of season and weather conditions. Some choose to do as little as possible, while others take advantage of the many good opportunities for trips along the beach and in the terrain. Our cabin is perfect for those who thrive in a homey atmosphere. No need for wild luxury, but with a desire for comfort and soul. The space The main floor has step-free access from a spacious paved courtyard with plenty of space for the car. The cottage has 3 bedrooms. The largest bedroom has a beautiful sea view and a very good 180x200 cm double bed with the Nordic Ecolabel "Svanen". Bedroom 2 has a smaller double bed of 120x200 cm. Bedroom 3 has an electric adjustable single bed measuring 90x200 cm. The bathroom is from 2026. The bathroom has a large sliding door entrance and is well accessible for wheelchair users. The bathroom is intended for wheelchair users and therefore designed with plenty of floor space. It has a wall-mounted toilet with armrests, an open shower and a well accessible sink. Floor heating and electric towel dryer. The kitchen is older, but has most of what you need, including a Nespresso coffee machine, fridge, dishwasher, oven and cooktop. The living room is really great, with the same panoramic view of the sea as outside. Two good armchairs that are located by the large window surfaces. Otherwise, there is a dining table with plenty of space for everyone, and a sofa corner with wood stove and TV. The basement is private, but you have free access to an older laundry room with washing machine and dryer if needed. The cabin has a fantastic outdoor area on different levels. Good windbreaks often make it possible to sit fairly protected so close to the ocean! The levels are connected to each other via wheelchair-friendly ramps. Note: Wheelchair users have access to the outdoor area via a path on the backside of the house. From the house itself and out the terrace door, there are no steps. You have access to firewood, a nice fire barrel and our private gas grill. There are otherwise few neighbors at Tuå, but those who are there are very nice. There are good grocery stores in Hellvik, Ogna and Egersund. In Sirevåg there is a bakery and the lovely fish sale/fish restaurant Fiskerfruen. In Egersund there are many nice niche shops with good service, an Alti-center and several larger shops right outside the city center. Wireless internet (WiFi) Guest access We make it clear that this is our private cottage that we use a lot ourselves. Therefore, you will see our own decorative items, our book preferences, and so on. It is (deliberately) not a sterile rental cabin. Of course, we make plenty of space both in the kitchen cabinets and for storing clothes. We use the lower floor for storage ourselves, but you have access to an older laundry room and freezer capacity if desired. Other things to note Cleaning 🪠 To ensure you have the best possible vacation experience, you don't have to clean the entire cabin after you leave. Please take out the garbage and vacuum, and I'll take care of the rest ☀️ Swimming 🩳 and fishing 🎣 The cabin is located in the middle of Hellvik and Sirevåg by the beautiful Jærkysten. Good fishing opportunities from land a few minutes walk from the cabin. There are nice bathing opportunities in both saltwater and freshwater. The amazing beaches between Sirevåg and Brusand are only a short drive away. Freshwater swimming: 900 meters. Swimming in the lake: 250 meters Excursions ⛱️ Some quick suggestions for what to do (in addition to reading a book, knitting or doing nothing at all...): The towns of Egersund and Stavanger, and the old charging station Sogndalstrand. The Oil Museum in Stavanger, the Fayance Museum in Egersund, Jøssingfjord Science Museum, Hå Old Rectory. Walk along the old Jærbanen from Hellvik to Egersund, with a cozy break in Egersund and the train back to Hellvik. Eigerøy lighthouse. Trollpikken.
