Stay in a small mountain village - vacation in the WALSERHUUS

The WALSERHUUS itself is the most special. Even today, the 400-year-old Walserhaus exudes the charm of earlier times. Today, however, with all the comforts you would want from a small chalet in the mountains. The idyllic location, the mild climate and the wonderful tranquility in the small mountain village make the house an absolute gem in Val Lumnezia, the Valley of Light. The space The Walserhuus can accommodate up to 6 people, in three bedrooms, all with private small bathrooms. The living space is distributed over three floors. The Walserhuus is set back and is located above the Luzihuus (our 2nd chalet). On the ground floor is the room with soapstone oven. It has a separate entrance with entrance, wardrobe, as well as bathroom, with toilet and stone shower. The middle floor, the main entrance of the house, can be reached via an exterior stone staircase. Right next to the entrance door is in front of the house a small arbor with bench. Upon entering the house, you are standing right in the open kitchen with a large dining table. and the flickering light of the fire contribute to the unique romance. Next to it you enter an extremely beautiful old Walser parlour with soapstone oven, cozy corner bench with large antique table. A sofa invites you to linger. The typical small windows open the view far into the valley. You climb up a steep – really steep - narrow staircase to the sleeping area. Two different, charming rooms make the choice difficult. The stone room fascinates with the antique beautiful bed. During the restoration it was extended by 30 cm, for their well-being. So the bed occupies almost the entire room today. Thanks to the open gable, the space increases in height. The built-in bathroom with shower and toilet, creates comfort. The second room is a bit bigger, exclusively in old wood and also with open Gable. It also has a small functional bathroom with shower and toilet. An old wooden table and other living accessories complement the cozy room. A small window opens into the apple orchard underneath. Behind the house is a seat and berth. Suitable for an aperitif or barbecue evening. For shared use there is a hot pot with whirl function between the two houses and a well in front of the Lucius. Rooms: 3 bedrooms with ensuite bathroom and electric heating approx. 16m2, beds 180cm wide, 200cm long, with footrest Kitchen: Large cozy kitchen with oven and 4 hotplates, as well as wood-fired hob Stube: Cozy living room with soapstone oven, for firing on the lower floor. The house is preheated for you in winter by us. SERVICES included: bedding and towels, cosy bathrobe (on loan), candles, blanket, firewood, WiFi, electricity Final cleaning Fr. 200.- with broom clean house. Large pollution will be charged additionally. CASA DA LUZI WELCOME: bottle of wine and mountain cheese Guest access The entire chalet is used exclusively by you, as well as the seat (stone table and benches) at the front of the chalet. The hot pot is shared with our second chalet, as long as it is rented at the same time. Be sure to add your desired use time to the hot pot list. Other things to note Due to the current regulations of the BAG, the occupancy is for max. 5 people will be possible. The chalet has a max. Capacity of usually 6 (Additional 2 mattresses available for max 8 people).
