What a special apartment! It joins others we have in the building and is every bit as cute and bright as they are. It is vintage but has been remodeled, so it's in great shape, with high ceilings, wood floors, tons of natural light and is clean and fresh from head-to- toe. Kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a stackable washer and dryer, and is fully fitted out for your everyday eating and cooking needs. The space We are certain you will think you have chosen the best possible location in Hillcrest, because our building is in the best possible location. The parking at our building is on the street, and there is almost always plenty of parking in the area. Please do not park in our driveway, as these are spots that we rent out if available for $5/night, $15/week or $50/month. You can ask if one is available, if it is, you can park up to two car in one spot. Another very important note -- there is space for about three cars in the very front of our building, but DO NOT PARK in the spot nearest the Kroger driveway, which is also the spot closest to our driveway, as big 18-wheelers turn in there and have side-swiped two of our guest's cars in the last year. Also, do not put your wheels in our grass as a solution to the problem. Stay on the street, please. We have caught the trucks on video both times, but we do not want you to have this dreadful experience. Play it safe and DO NOT park in the spot closest to our driveway. Don't worry, though, we have hung signs in front of these spots warning you about the issue. Two more things, we have put a lot of thought and calculations into our pricing, considering our expenses, what you get, the competition, etc. We also offer reduced prices for longer term stays. Please do not ask us to reduce our prices beyond what we already offer. And, we love pets, but due to bad experiences in the past we are firm in our position of not allowing dogs in our units, so no need to ask if we will make an exception. Thanks for understanding and considering our units! Guest access You will come into the front door of our building, and find the second door on the left to be the entry to the mini palace. There is a number code on both the front door to the building, and to the mini palace. Other things to note We leave a few dry goods for breakfast such as cereal and bread. There is usually butter and jam or jelly available, and we leave fresh skim milk when we are able to. You'll find basic condiments and coffee makings, too.
