The living areas and bedrooms of Villa Bagolaro are all on one floor (the first floor). The villa consists of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, small tub, bidet and toilet, a large living area with fireplace and a double sofa-bed, another living area with a fireplace and a single sofa-bed, a kitchen with wood oven and next to it a dining room with dining table. Because of the presence of 2 fireplaces, the house offers a pleasant stay also during the few cold weeks of the short Sicilian winter. There is a maximum usage of 3 KWH of electricity. Etna villages such as Trecastagni, Zafferana Etnea and Randazzo are famous for their ancient lava flows, the architecture of their 17th century churches, their delicious local products and the hospitality of their villagers. Situated 700m above the sea, they are a popular destination for city dwellers who want some fresh air in the summer and snow for skiing in the winter. Few people know that Etna is a popular place among skiers in winter. On some beautiful winter days, it is even possible to ski on frozen slopes in the morning while enjoying a magnificent panoramic view of the Mediterranean and then go sunbathe on the beach in the afternoon!
