Malören is a beautiful island, 30 km out in Bottenviken from Kalix. Here you will experience peace and quiet in a nature reserve with the horizon as a view. On Malören, there are many sights and the island has a rich history. The chapel is the only sea church in Sweden that has a cathedral spire. The lighthouse was designed by the famous Gustaf von Heidenstam in 1850. You go to an island and leave the outside world with all its problems on land. Enjoy the view, the tranquility, the bird life and the distinctive nature of the Malören nature reserve. The space Malören is located three miles straight out into the sea. The environment is beautiful and Malören is the outermost post in Bottenviken. On the island, there are many round, beautiful stones. It's quiet and peaceful on the island.
