Mountainside House with Sea & Mountain Views

A 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house on the side of the mountains of Mijas, with stunning views of the sea, mountains and landscape below. The house sleeps 6 in three bedrooms. The house is set in a quiet, gated development in the Mijas area of the Costa del Sol, about a 15 minute drive from Malaga airport and less than a 10 minute drive from Benalmadena & Fuengirola. The village of Mijas Pueblo is also a short drive (or 5 kilometre walk) away. There is a beautiful communal pool and gardens about 100 yards from the house, as well as the house's own garden and three sun terraces. Ground Floor Carport, garage and entrance hall. First Floor - Living/Dining Room with a large screen smart TV with UK channels (including sports), DVD player, SONOS speaker, sofa and armchairs and a log fire. There is a full size indoor dining table which seats 6+. - Kitchen - equipped with oven, electric hob, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, bread maker and Nespresso coffee machine. - WC with toilet and hand basin - Terrace and wrap-around garden with views of the sea, mountains and town below. The terrace has an extendable table with six chairs and blinds on each side so that it can be in the sun or shade as required. The garden has a gas BBQ. Second Floor - Master bedroom with a kingsize bed, en-suite bathroom with bath with shower above, toilet, bidet and basin, sea & mountain views, and direct access to a further terrace with spectacular views and a table & chairs - ideal for breakfast or your morning coffee. - Bedroom 2 with twin beds, which can be pushed together to make a large double, with fantastic sea and mountain views and access to the aforementioned terrace. - Bedroom 3 with twin beds, which can be pushed together to make a large double. - Family bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. On the third floor (accessed via a spiral staircase from the terrace off the master and second bedrooms) is a solarium with sun loungers and an outdoor shower for keeping cool. The solarium has panoramic views of the sea and mountains and, to the rear, of the undeveloped mountainside behind the house. The house is extremely comfortable and, as our family holiday home, is finished with (what we think are) some nice touches to make it feel like a home from home. Within a short drive from the house are numerous golf courses, the bars, restaurants and beaches of Benalmadena, Fuengirola and Torremolinos, and a wide selection of supermarkets and shopping centres. Due to the hillside location of the house, a car is essential unless you're happy to rely on taxis or Uber. There is also a bus from just outside the gates.
